Created in 2020 by Gully TV Media founder Jamil Lindsey

initially referred to as "The Marvin Gaye" due to the similar appearance

of skull caps worn by the late Motown Records crooner in the 1970's

PA Knit was inspired by hand made skull caps made popularly fashionable in pennsylvania's prison system by Philadelphia's Sunni muslim community.

IF you look at Philadelphia's neo soul movement of the late 1990's or

Hip-Hop's most popular live band The Roots also Philly natives you will see the they often appeared in very stylish knitted "Crowns". "My time spent around natives of Philadelphia had alot to do with me taking what some would refer to as a "Kuffi"and adding unique color combinations and style that was attractive to the sneaker collectors" I started out with just a line of about 6 hats, the popularity and demand pushed me to what is now known as the "PA KNIT Dynasty" which currently consists of skull caps, bucket hats, sweaters, hand bags, scarves, hoody's and cardigans choosing a name was a no brainer being that im a native of Erie, Pennsylvania today you can see

PA KNIT or PA "knittage" in music video's, movies and on heads of celebrities like E-40, Fat Man Scoop, Rosco P Coldchain,Yukmouth, Shyheim just to name a few. Get yours today at PA-KNIT.COM or my personal fashion blog therealdribble.com
